The Santiago Canyon College men's soccer team hit the road on Tuesday afternoon to take on the San Diego City College Knights in non-conference play. The Hawks were bested by the final score of 2-0.
The Hawks managed only three shots on goal to the Knight's six. Freshman Braydon Cerminelli was issued two yellow cards in the first half, subsequently forcing the Hawks to play a man down for the remainder of the contest.
A total of five yellow cards were issued with 13 fouls recorded to shape a chippy contest. Freshman tandem Tristain Amacio and Sam Everlakes each tried their foot once, while Cerminelli recorded one blast in the first half.
Freshman goalkeeper Diego Saldivar (2-1-1) was tabbed with the defeat after allowing two goals and recording two saves.
