Keely Decker begins her 6th season on the SCC coaching staff after having been the head JV coach at Sunny Hills High School in 2008. She earned her bachelor's in Psychology and was the 4 year starting center fielder for the NCAA Division III Chapman University Panthers from 2001-2005. During her time at Chapman the Panthers reached the NCAA playoffs three times while placing 5th at the 2004 World Series and 3rd at the 2005 World Series. Keely helped lead the Panthers as a selection for the 2004 Division III All-Independent 2nd Team, 2005 All-Independent 1st Team and NFCA 2005 All-West Region 1st Team. She also earned accolades as a member of the 2004 All-West Regional Tournament Team & 2005 NFCA All-World Series 1st team. As of 2014, she is the current single season leader in fielding percentage (1.000), 2nd in all-time outfield fielding percentage (.969) & 2nd in all-time stolen bases (42). Keely resides in Costa Mesa with her husband, Randy.
