The Hawks continued there recent run of goal-scoring with a 3-0 victory on the road against a hard-working Golden West team. Today it was Kendra Koerth who got the Hawks on the board around the 25 minute-mark and SCC took a 1-0 lead in to the break.
Having dominated possession from the start of the game, SCC resumed where they left off in the second period. The back-line was again resolute, supported ably by sophomore keeper Ariana Radilla. Just after the hour, Chloe Helenihi served for Hannah Roskelly to drive a shot back across the Rustlers keeper to put the Hawks 2-0 up. Shortly after, Ashley Roskelly headed the third to close out the scoring.
SCC play next at home on Friday, November 1st against Cypress College. Kick-off is at 3pm. We hope to see you there.
