Cross Country Competes in Golden West Invitational

The men's and women's cross country teams competed in the Golden West College Invitational on Friday morning in Huntington Beach, CA. The Hawks rolled out three runners, two on the men's side and one on the women's side, to represent the program.

Sophomore Brittany Roque was the lone competitor for the women's team. She placed 121^st overall with a time of 29:10.7.

Freshman Jack Nygren was the top finisher for the men as he placed inside the top 100. He placed 85^th overall with a clip of 23:05.94. Sophomore Trevor Wong rounded out the group with a time of 25:16.84 to finish in 164^th place.

The Hawks will compete in the SoCal Regional Preview on Friday, October 4 in Rancho Cucamonga, CA hosted by Chaffey College.
