Cross Country Hits Trails for Southern California Preview

The men's and women's cross-country programs traveled to Rancho Cucamonga, CA on Friday morning to compete in the Southern California Regional Preview hosted by Chaffey College. The Hawks featured two runners for each team in a hard-fought effort.
Freshman Jack Nygren highlighted the Hawks efforts for the men's team by placing 63rd overall. He earned a 23:10.6 mark. Sophomore Trevor Wong followed with a 27:43.9 mark to earn him 244th place.
Freshman Tiffany Easter was the top-finisher on the women's side by placing 113th overall with a time of 26:02.0. She was backed by freshman Brittany Roque who placed inside the top-150 with a mark of 30:11.5.
