When asked about the outcome of the game, Head Coach Todd Dixon replied, "This game was a great test to start the season. Long Beach City is a very well coached team and they have some very good players. I'm happy with the way we started the game. We will need to work on keeping the pace of the game in our favor when teams try to slow us down. Overall, a great way to start the season and I look forward to another challenge in Chaffey tomorrow night." The Hawks will be back in action on Friday night as they take on Chaffey College at 7:30pm in the Championship of the Santa Ana Tournament.
