The Hawks traveled to San Diego on Wednesday and defeated Mira Costa College by the score of 73-66. Mira Costa jumped on SCC early by taking an 8-0 lead, but the Hawks rallied back quickly and played a tight game in the first half. The score at the half was 34-31 with SCC leading. AJ Garrity led the Hawks with 12 points in the half. SCC took control in the second half and never looked back. David Agba made some clutch plays with rebounds and steals down the stretch. He finished the game with 11 points and 17 rebounds. Antoine Jenkins scored 20 points, Garrity finished with 16, and Paul Vilela chipped in with 16 points. The Hawks finished the game with 51 rebounds as a team.
