Santiago Canyon College opened the Pasadena City College Tournament on Thursday, November 14th with a game against LA Southwest. The Hawks started fast and never looked back as they jumped to a 43-32 halftime lead. Paul Vilela had a strong first half with 12 points. SCC continued their surge in the second half and defeated the Cougars, 94-56. Leading the way in scoring was Antoine Jenkins with 19 points, AJ Garrity had 17 points, and Vilela finished with 14 points. Vilela also contributed a team high 6 assists. David Agba collected a game high 8 rebounds. The Hawks connected on 15 three-pointers for the game.
