The Santiago Canyon College men's volleyball team traveled to Long Beach, CA to take on the Long Beach City College Vikings in non-conference action on Thursday night. The Hawks put up a strong fight, but ultimately fell in straight sets.
Sophomore Josiah Saldana paced the Hawks on offense with six kills on 22 attempts. He added four digs and a block assist in the process. Freshman Zachary Berg followed with five kills while also lofting up six assists. He bent down for four digs as well.
Freshman Benzy Tovar landed in double-digits in assists with 10 to mark a career-high. He had two digs as well. Freshman Cameron Farrehyar was solid in his three sets of action. With four kills and four digs.
