Jack Nygren Competes at 3C2A Men’s Cross Country State Championships

Freshman Jack Nygren of the men's cross country team competed as an individual qualifier at the 3C2A Men's Cross Country State Championships on Saturday morning at Woodward Park in Fresno, CA.

Nygren, who has led the Hawks all season, completed the four-mile men's course in rainy, muddy conditions with a time of 22 minutes, 23 seconds. His time ranks as the 15th fastest in program history on the Woodward Park course. Nygren finished 72nd out of 192 competitors in the State Championships field.
