Three goals in ten minutes set the Hawks on the way to a road win against a determined Antelope Valley College team. Jessica Santuci led the Hawks with two goals, calmly slotting the ball away from just inside the penalty area on both occasions from Courtney Carbajal serves. Tara Hansel had put the visitors on the board following a goal-mouth scramble after 20 minutes and SCC took a comfortable 3 goal lead in to the break.
Emma Carton scored the fourth immediately after half-time. The Roskelly sisters, Ashley and Hannah, rounded out the scoring. Emily Diplock and Carbajal shared the shut-out in goal.
The Hawks open Conference play on Tuesday, October 1st at sister-school Santa Ana College. Kick-off is at 3pm. Thanks to all those who travelled up to Lancaster today to cheer on the team.
