The Hawks continued to improve with a 4-0 win against the well-drilled, hardworking visitors from Antelope Valley College. A great team goal from Maya Little got the Hawks on the scoreboard early as interplay from Summer Stewart, Keyla Fragoso and Rubio, set Little up for a shot high in to the top right corner. Two goals from Jasmine Ferman, and a fine free-kick from Alyssa Rubio settled a physical contest played in high temperatures.Defenders Kylee Medlin, Jacky Alba- Diaz, Paige Winters (pictured) and Emily Baro, helped Zaydee Solis in goal collect the shut-out.
Next-up for the Hawks is the beginning of Orange Empire Conference play and the visit of Orange Coast College on Tuesday, September 28th.
