Goals from Shelby Kain, Nikki Marino and Cassie Lewis sealed a 3-0 victory over the hard-running Ventura Pirates.
Savana Prado again collected the shut-out in goal and made an important stop early in proceedings. Kain stepped up from 25 yards to separate the teams at half-time, and SCC looked to build on that with two goals in the first 12 minutes of the second period. Marino converted a Camryn Toole cross on 50 minutes, before becoming provider for Lewis who closed out the scoring 7 minutes later.
The backline was again led by Kylee Medlin (pictured) and the Hawks now move on to a 2pm kick-off on Tuesday, November 22nd at home to Santa Barbara City College.
Per California Community College Athletic Association guidelines, entry will be $12 adults, $8 concessions, cash only payable at the gate.
