It was the final regular season home contest for the Santiago Canyon College women's soccer team on Friday afternoon as they hosted the Fullerton College Hornets in Orange Empire Conference (OEC) play. The Hawks cruised to a 4-0 victory behind a strong offense and a sturdy defensive unit.

The offensive brigade was led by freshman forward Ayleen Jimenez who notched her first two-score game of her career. She got things rolling early in the first half by linking up with freshman forward Samantha Aguila for the score. Aguila, who recorded two assists on the night, crossed a ball from the far side into the box that found Jimenez's head for the opening score.

Jimenez added another late-game score in the 90^th minute on a cross into the box from freshman forward Megan Llopis for the fourth score of the game.

Freshman forward Jacqueline Arroyo found the back of the net in the 30^th minute compliments of a beautiful cross from freshman forward Madelynn Valdez. Sophomore forward Aubrey Bryant got in on the scoring action by partnering with Aguila on a dual assist in the 78^th minute. The pair connected passes that eventually found the foot of Llopis for the third score of the game.

SCC fired off 30 shots to Fullerton's mere three. It is the fifth time this season where the Hawks unleashed 30 or more tries at goal. Nine different players blasted off with freshman forward Alyssa Marino leading the charge with six. Sophomore forward Sheila Sanchez and Aguila hammered off five tries, while Jimenez uncorked four.

Freshman goalkeeper Krystal Maxey (7-1-1) earned the win after hauling in one save. Freshman Brittany Hazelton closed out the last 10 minutes between the pipes.
